…or does it seem a bit much that I saw probably 10 to 15 kids under age 2 at the grocery store tonight around 10:30 p.m. (some of whom were making it very clear that they were quite cranky)? I think I’m really good about giving parents a break when they have a screaming child in a store — one day I may be one of those people — but I don’t have nearly as much patience when it’s that late and the kids probably should be home in bed.

Holy crap, YES!!!! I have had to run out with my kids before when they were sick and I needed medicine for them, but never to do my weekly grocery shopping. Also lately I have seen a TON of kids in the grocery store with NO SHOES. GROSSSSSS!!! Do their parents not realize the germy nasty gross mess not to mention the possible hazard to their feet if there were somthing broken on the ground. I swear some people don’t need to have kids!!!

That’s the thing…I really do get it when it’s something you need to run out for in an emergency, but like you mentioned, these were people doing weekly shopping. I’m sure I just don’t know their situations, so I probably shouldn’t judge, but it just seemed a little inappropriate to me.
