I chose this picture — a previous WW — as the final one of 2008 because it captures so much of what our year involved. Primarily because it shows Baby B taking off, determined and looking intently forward, exerting her new-found independence as I watch on, close enough to help if needed but knowing she wants to do it on her own. It also captures us in a different city to represent our various travels over the year. In addition, anyone who knows me can tell in this picture that I’ve lost weight, which was a big part of the year, too. And hey, it also shows her hair starting to come in.

Okay well I teared up reading that
When I saw the pic I thought it perfectly showed baby B making great steps forward and Momma watching on with pride.
