Looks like you made it safely to the new home of And Baby B Makes Three! Welcome…take your shoes off, grab a drink, and get comfortable. It’s a bit of a different look, but I think it’s simple, clean, and fits the blog well.
For the most part, the blog is still the same, with nearly daily posts (as time allows) focusing on my life as a new mom. My blogroll and recommended links along the right side of the page remain the same.
But you’ll also find a few changes and additions that make it a little better than the old version. First, I’ve put my posts into categories now, and I hope you get a kick out of the category names. This will make it easier to browse through my archives if you have a specific subject you’re looking for.
You’ll notice a row of links along the top of the page below the header. “About this blog” is pretty self-explanatory. “Daycare questions” is a list of questions I put together that might be helpful if you’re going about the process of interviewing daycares (focused on centers, but helpful for in-home care, as well). “Hospital packing” is a list of things I compiled from my experience. “Pregnancy weight” is a log of my weight gain and loss during pregnancy and for the first five weeks post-partum. “Baby B’s stats” is where you’ll find a log of Baby B’s growth, and that’s also where I’ve moved her age ticker. (One of the problems with Blogger was that having the ticker in the header caused my computer at work to lock up when I’d try to load the site, so I moved it to a different page at WordPress.)
When you make a comment, the form will ask for your name, e-mail address (will not be published), and website (will be shown as a link from your name), but as of right now, I’m not requiring that any of these be filled out in order to comment. Still, I’d at least appreciate a name or initials of some sort when you comment.
I know it might take a little time to get used to the new look, but I hope you like it. Any and all feedback is welcome (on this or on anything…I know there are a lot of people who read this blog, but very few of you make comments. Please don’t ever hesitate! 🙂 )
Don’t forget to update my link on your blogrolls and bookmarks. Welcome to my new home! I hope you come to visit often.
